Trinity Amps - Trinity Tramp

Trinity Amps - Trinity Tramp: "The Tramp began as a low-powered, practice-bedroom amp concept that turned into a full blown practice-home-studio-gigging amp. Why would we bother? Well, there are lots of 2-tube amps out there, from the famous Fender Champ to the Epiphone Valve Jr, and many more. These amps have a sweet vibe but are challenged in what they can do; whether the amount of break-up they can provide in the case of some amps, or their tonal versatility in the case of others. The Tramp was designed to address this shortcoming and provide extreme versatility while still keeping to the format of a two-stage preamp and only two tubes. The Tramp also features a Master Volume control that doesn't make the tone suck as you turn it down, as well as a variable power level control, allowing you to have almost any tone right down to bedroom volume levels you can comfortably talk over.

The Tramp is a brand new design that incorporates extreme, useful flexibility with distinct amp voices and plenty of features. With a simple pull of a switch, you can go from Tweed to 'Tude; another pull switch and you can play Fat or Thin. Using the Volume, Master Volume and Power Level controls along with Bass and Treble, achieves tonal nirvana"

The Top 10 Reasons to Play Guitar

via Guitar World - My favourite:

"03. Versatility

You can’t play chords on a violin. You can’t slur notes on a piano. You can’t play counterpoint harmonies on a sax. Pete Townshend couldn’t have beaten up Abbie Hoffman at Woodstock if he had played bagpipes now, could he? It ain’t perfect, but the guitar has a vast range of musical possibilities for those who take the time to learn it well."

25 Greatest Acoustic Songs In Hard Rock | Guitar World

25 Greatest Acoustic Songs In Hard Rock | Guitar World:

"Slash may have said it best: "There's no lying with the acoustic guitar. There's something very pure, and very humbling, about it."

A profound statement coming from one of rock 'n' roll's most celebrated electric guitarists. But strip away all the muck of multi-layered overdubs, rack effects and endless symphonies of tracks, and you separate the dodgers hiding behind studio wizardry and the artists who know a great song only needs six-strings and a melody.

Here are 25 of hard rock's best acoustic rockers. Some are pure acoustic jams, others only start out out that way before ascending into grand opuses."

The Next Ones – Joe Morrow – NHL 2011 Draft Prospect Profile: Joe No Longer A Best Kept Secret | The Hockey Writers

The Next Ones – Joe Morrow – NHL 2011 Draft Prospect Profile: Joe No Longer A Best Kept Secret | The Hockey Writers:

"(An excerpt of this section was used in The Good Point’s Mock Draft)

After averaging almost a point-per-game in the 2011 WHL playoffs, Joe is a best kept secret no longer. Morrow is in the all-around puck-moving mould of blueliner who is so highly coveted by NHL teams in the post-lockout era.

Cannon shot – check. Very good passer – check. Puck poise – check.

However, what really sets morrow apart is his absolute superb skating ability. Although I think the comparison is a stretch, when you hear Paul Coffey’s name in the same sentence as Joe Morrow, you have to stand up and take notice.

Although definitely improved especially with respect to positioning, Morrow must continue to develop his defensive acumen and work on having a quicker shot release."
